Dr. Sonu Balhara Ahlawat

Dr. Sonu Balhara Ahlawat is a well-known IVF & Infertility Specialist. She did her graduation from the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) in Rohtak, Haryana, and post-graduation from the prestigious Army Hospital Research and Referral (AHRR) Delhi Cantt.

She is trained in endoscopic procedures and artificial reproductive techniques at the prestigious Army Hospital Research & Referral, New Delhi and has over 25 years of extensive knowledge in reproductive medicine. Dr. Balhara has been trained in some of India’s most esteemed medical facilities, including the Army Hospital Research and Referral (AHRR) and the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in New Delhi. She was a senior consultant, heading the reproductive unit of the Infertility & IVF department at Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon for over 4 years.

She has an extensive experience with all routine and emergency obstetric and gynecological operations, including oocyte pick-up (OPU), embryo transfer, intrauterine insemination, follicular aspiration, and follicle monitoring on ultrasound. She has proven records to handle any professional obstacle, displaying her commitment and diligence in the process.

Her core focus areas include reproductive medicine, IVF procedures, IUI, and third-party reproduction procedures. She also has an extensive experience in fertility preservation, high-risk pregnancy (hysteroscopy laparoscopy), recurrent pregnancy loss, and endoscopic treatments. Dr. Balhara is an avid scholar and has written a book on DNB Part II obstetrics and gynecology which was published in April 2012.

She enjoys keeping up with developments in obstetrics, gynecology, and assisted reproductive technologies. She has published a lot of research papers. Dr. Sonu Balhara has been in the prestigious post of Secretary at the Indian Fertility Society, Haryana chapter, for the past 2 years.
