Dr. Mattar is a subspecialist affiliate of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Following the reception of his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the American University of Beirut, Dr. Mattar completed his residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the American University of Beirut Medical Centre. He then pursued an accredited fellowship at the University of Montreal- Canada, and obtained a Diplôme d'Études Spécialisées (D.E.S.) in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility.
In addition to his clinical and surgical expertise, Dr. Mattar has a strong academic background. He was appointed as an instructor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montreal, and he is avidly involved in research: he is the author of multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and has presented his work in esteemed international conferences. 
Prior to joining ART Fertility Clinics, he worked at Clinique Ovo in Montreal, one of the leading fertility centers in North America, then became one of the founding physicians of the Fakih IVF branch in Qatar.
