Caffeine consumption
A paper published in 2016 from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine indicates that High levels of caffeine consumption (more than 5 cups a day) have been associated with decreased fertility. During pregnancy, caffeine consumption over (2–3 cups a day) may increase risk for miscarriage, but in men caffeine consumption has no effect on semen parameters.

Smoking
Smoking is not only bad for your lungs, but it also affects fertility for both male and female. The same paper published in 2016 from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine indicates that smoking has substantial adverse effects on fertility. A meta-analysis comparing was done for 10,928 smoking women with19,128 non-smoking women and found that smoking women were significantly more likely to be infertile. Menopause occurs, on average, 1 to 4 years earlier in smoking women than in non-smoking women. IVF doctors also state that smoking also is associated with an increased risk of miscarriage, in both natural pregnancies and those resulting from assisted reproductive technologies

Junk food
Consumption of junk food is proven to have a long term impact on your health. Junk food can lead to heart diseases, digestive issues, depression and obesity. Being depressed or being overweight “obese” means that your BMI is higher than 30 Kg/m2 and that can lead to infertility issues and can also impact the success rates of infertility treatments. Being underweight is also not good as that can lead to irregular periods.

Living an unhealthy lifestyle
As per top fertility doctors, living a lifestyle surrounded with negativity may lead to depression and stress and excess stress can affect the function of the hypothalamus gland, which plays the role of regulating the hormones that tells the ovaries to release eggs.

Extreme exercise
A study was made in 2012 that indicates the relation of physical activity and time to pregnancy. The study showed that high-intensity workouts has a relation with a longer time to conceive.

Planning to postpone pregnancy for a long time
Nowadays time passes very fast, we indulge in life and work until we realize that our chance may have passed. Female fertility declines remarkably from age 35. By the time a woman is 37 years old, 90 per cent of her eggs are gone. Similarly, in men, the notion is that they produce sperm all their life, but it is critical to know that sperm quality declines with age.
